What is Parent Coaching?
Parent coaching is a non-judgmental, affirming practice that harnesses existing strengths in your family and in YOU (yes, they are definitely in there!) and uses them to simplify, normalize and overcome challenges. In layman’s terms:
I’ll help you figure out what you want as a parent and how to create it.
We work together to find solutions to common problems like a rocky bedtime routine, trouble communicating effectively, setting boundaries or finding time for yourself to refuel so you can parent with intention. I’ll pose questions each week that get you thinking differently about the way you parent and why.
I want to empower you as a change-maker!
Each session will have clear objectives. After each session I provide a written summary to give you the opportunity to reflect on your parenting journey. These summaries also include invitations for action steps that set ideas into motion. After at least 5 weeks, you will have moved through a powerful change process, meeting the goals you’ve set for yourself and your family.
If any of this sounds overwhelming or scary, or just one more thing to do, fear not, for it is the small shifts we make, the little things we change, that tend to have the biggest impact.

We know the brain is wired toward a negativity bias, so making time once a week to connect to questions that get you to positively reframe difficulties and think about the best in your family, challenges that bias and opens up a world of possibility. A world of:
“What if he DID do his homework on his own?”
“What if she WAS able to work through struggle without a meltdown?”
“What if bedtime WAS easier and calmer for everyone?”
